In the second quarter of 2024, the basketball gaming category has seen interesting trends in user engagement and downloads. Here’s a snapshot of how the top 5 basketball games performed, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Basket Battle experienced a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 2.7M in the first week of April and seeing a dip to 1.2M by mid-May, before slightly recovering to 1.6M in the last week of June. Weekly active users followed a declining trend from 26M in early April to just over 21M by the end of June.

For NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball, revenue varied, peaking at $339K in the first week of April and then dropping to $82K towards the end of June. Downloads saw a high of 2M in late April, while weekly active users hit a peak of 16M in the same period.
